401(k) / Retirement Plan

Vanguard 401(k) for US employees. Eligible to enroll with first paycheck.

401(k) Match

100% match up to 6% of salary. Also available for non-US employees in their home country retirement accounts.

Profit Sharing

10% of annual company profits distributed based on tenure. Eligible after 2 years, accrue 1 share per month starting at 2nd anniversary, max out at 10 years. Distributed around March annually.

Equity / RSUs

Employee Liquidity Pool: 10% of company value divided among employees if company is sold or goes public. Eligible after 2 years, accrue 1 share per month starting at 2nd anniversary, max out at 10 years.

PTO / Vacation

20 days per year. Prorated in first year, rolls over year to year with maximum bank of 27 days, paid out upon termination/resignation.

Paid Holidays

11 local holidays per year. Not paid out upon termination or resignation.

Sabbatical

6 weeks paid sabbatical every 3 years. Requires 3 months advance notice to team, paid out if unused within previous 12 months upon termination/resignation.

Unlimited Sick Days

Unlimited sick days - no tracking required. Not paid out upon resignation or termination. May require short-term disability claim if out more than 7 consecutive work days.

Summer Fridays

Fridays off from May 1 through August 31 every year. New employees may need to complete training program first.

Bereavement Leave

10 days paid for immediate family, 3 days paid for extended family. Can discuss with manager for longer absences if needed.

Parental Leave

Primary caregiver: 16 weeks at 100% pay. Secondary caregiver: 6 weeks at 100% pay. Must be taken within first year of child birth or placement. Additional unpaid leave available.

Company Equipment

Full computer provided - employee choice of model and specs within reason. Can upgrade when broken, too old, or more efficient model available with Finance approval.

Home Office Stipend

Up to $3,000 in first year for desk, chair, computer accessories, or other office furniture. Replacements available with People Ops approval.

Coworking Allowance

$200/month for coworking space rental. Must be true coworking space for working. Includes Deskpass subscription with $200/month budget.

Work From Anywhere

Fully remote company with no physical headquarters. Employees spread across dozens of cities on multiple continents. Everyone free to live and work wherever they choose.

Company Offsites / Retreats

Entire company gathers in person twice per year.
