⭐️ Our Risk and Controls team
Like any other regulated bank, we need to make sure we are managing our risks and controls, and are fully compliant with regulation. But at Monzo, we want to do so while continuing with our agile “test and learn” approach to launching products our customers love. We are looking for a Risk & Controls Manager to help our 2LOD Enterprise Risk Team and 1LOD Risk & Control Discipline partner with Habito stakeholders to ensure we successfully roll-out and embed our risk management framework and change controls across the company.
As a Risk & Control Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract, you will use your passion for risk and control to support our integration with Habito across all components of our risk framework. Monzo is a fast-paced and ever changing environment: flexibility, and openness to pivot and focus on different components of our risk frameworks is a must.
Teams across the first line in Monzo seek guidance from the Risk & Control Discipline on how to ensure they are compliant with regulations and Monzo’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and they also rely on us to create a risk aware culture that distinguishes Monzo in both banking and technology. Within the Habito integration plan, you will lead the way in creating our approach for real-time risk management by accurately identifying and documenting risks, issues and controls, and also setting the standard on our consumer duty integration activities.
It would be a bonus if you have experience in risk management in mortgage brokerage firms or Consumer Duty and experience applying these regulations and principles to day-to-day work
