The Snowflake Pursuit team manages the development, negotiation, and closure of our most complex, long-cycle sales opportunities. As the Pursuits Program Manager, your primary mission is to operationalize and run the Pursuits Program. Under this role, you’ll be working in close partnership with our Sales organization and the members of the Pursuits team in the designing, building, operationalizing and running of our Pursuits Program.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to coordinate with senior leadership, and a proactive approach to program management. The Pursuits Program Manager will ensure the smooth execution of all program elements, facilitate collaboration and drive accountability across multiple functions and elevate the customer experience.
While your core focus is the operational management of the program, you will also serve as a key resource for the Pursuit Team, providing tactical support during the qualification and development phases of high-value opportunities.
This position provides high visibility within the Snowflake Organization and will be a key component to achieving meaningful growth.
Location and Working Arrangement: This role can be based in either our Atlanta, Georgia or Menlo Park, San Fransisco offices. It is a hybrid position with three days in office required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Program Point of Contact: Act as a primary operational point of contact for the program, fielding questions and providing guidance to account teams, sponsors, and other stakeholders regarding program benefits and standard operating procedures.
- Program Logistics and Cadence Management: Own the master schedule and end-to-end logistics for key program forums. This includes coordinating all Pursuit Steering Committee meetings and Executive Account Reviews, while ensuring timely communication and reporting of program activities.
- Executive Sponsorship Program Oversight: Manage the assignment and tracking of executive sponsors to Pursuit opportunities. This involves monitoring their engagement in key customer activities (e.g., QBRs, roadmap presentations) and ensuring their commitments are fulfilled.
- Cross-Functional Resource Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact for mobilizing internal support teams—such as Value Engineering, Service Delivery, and Engineering—to ensure they are aligned with specific Pursuit opportunity requirements.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Maintain the central tracker for all action items and "asks" generated from executive reviews and prepare and deliver regular progress reports for the program's stakeholder readouts.
- Central Resource and Knowledge Management: Take full ownership of the program’s infrastructure, including global shared drives, Slack channels, and dashboards. Ensure all templates, recordings, dashboards and best-practice documents are current and easily accessible to stakeholders.
- Manage the Pursuit Opportunities Nomination Process: Facilitate the Pursuit opportunity nomination process by coordinating with Field Operations and Sales leadership. You will manage the review and approval workflow through the CRO-led Pursuits Steering Committee.
- Tactical Deal Support: Support the broader Pursuits team by participating on specific pursuit opportunities, assisting with deal analysis, structure and investment frameworks as needed.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Experience: 10+ years of related experience in sales program operations, project management, deal desk, or commercial finance.
- Operational Proficiency: Proven ability to manage the logistics of complex programs within a fast-paced SaaS or Consumption-based business model.
- Negotiation & Contract Familiarity: Previous experience with complex contract negotiations; ability to read and understand contractual business terms and conditions.
- Financial Literacy: Solid understanding of Snowflake’s consumption revenue model and bookings methodology.
- Communication: Strong ability to break down complex issues into simple, actionable terms for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Service Mindset: A strong customer-service orientation with a focus on facilitating the success of the Sales organization and Pursuit team members.
- AI & Data Synthesis: Proficiency in using AI tools to derive data driven insights.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
