About the role

The Manager, Payroll Product Expansion is responsible for leading and managing a team of Global Product Specialists, Global Solution Designers, and Senior Global Solution Designers to ensure the successful delivery of native engine rollouts across multiple countries. This role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, and deep product/domain expertise to support country leads and drive high-quality, scalable outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Global Product Specialists and Solution Designers.
• Provide clear direction, set priorities, and ensure accountability across the team.
• Support country leads with management and leadership guidance during delivery execution.

Country Rollout Delivery

• Oversee the end-to-end execution of native engine rollouts across multiple countries, ensuring on-time and quality delivery.
• Align rollout execution with organisational strategy, product vision, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Compliance and other stakeholders.

Planning & Execution

• Plan, coordinate, and delegate work effectively across teams and projects.
• Manage performance to ensure milestones, deliverables, and KPIs are achieved.
• Monitor and influence project outcomes, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

Product & Domain Expertise

• Apply strong knowledge of payroll, compliance, and product functionality to guide solution design and decision-making.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with global product standards.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex issues requiring both technical and domain expertise.

Experience

• Proven experience in managing teams within a global expansion, payroll, SaaS, or product delivery environment.
• Strong track record of delivering complex, multi-country implementations or rollouts.
• Deep payroll product and domain knowledge with specific focus on compliance or related HR technology fields.
• Strong organisational, planning, and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
