We're looking for a pragmatic, senior engineer with significant experience building Ruby on Rails applications. In this Engineering Manager role, you’ll maintain an 80/20 split—spending the bulk of your time as a high-impact individual contributor while taking on the responsibility of a people manager; you’ll have direct reports and will be responsible for their professional growth, performance, and support.

This role can be filled in our San Francisco office OR remotely in North America, Central or South America.
As an Engineering Manager at Doximity you will be expected to roll-up your sleeves and make substantial individual technical contributions for 70-80% of your time. As you will lead a team of 3-5 software engineers, the rest of your time will be focused on people management.
We believe experienced and passionate, hands-on software engineers make for great Engineering Managers.
The US total compensation range for this full-time position is $177,000 - $238,000 (inclusive of salary + equity). Our ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the approximate total target compensation for the position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including relevant skills, experience, and education/training. Please note that the compensation listed does not include benefits.
