About Us
Circle is building the world’s leading all-in-one platform for online communities. We make it possible for creators, coaches, educators, and businesses to bring together their audience with engaging discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, and payments — all in one place, all under their own brand.
We’re proud to be a fully remote company of around 200 (and growing!) team members from 30+ countries around the world. We seek exceptional individuals around the world, set them up to do the best work of their lives, and in turn, create a meaningful impact in their own lives. We don't track hours, but we do manage for high expectations very closely. We collaborate across time zones, are highly async, and like to document a lot.
Twice a year, we bring the whole company together in beautiful places around the world for our company offsites. So far, we’ve hosted offsites in Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, Italy, Ireland, and more, with still more to come!

About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter reporting into the Head of Marketing to help elevate the way Circle speaks to its core audience. You will be the architect and guardian of Circle’s brand voice, defining how the world falls in love with us, one sentence at a time.
You’ll work across design, marketing, product marketing, and founders to turn strategic briefs into clear, confident, and delightful language that earns trust and drives action.
When a product page, announcement, or ad needs narrative and messaging clarity, emotional pull, or just a touch of well-placed wit, you’re Circle’s go-to person.
To collaborate most effectively with the team, you should ideally be based in a North American time zone.
What you'll be doing
- Help concept and write for integrated marketing campaigns: everything from big ideas and taglines to film scripts and ad copy
- Partner with Product Marketing on high-level messaging and copy for major product launches: announcement scripts, marketing site pages, sales pages, emails, ads, etc.
- Write performance marketing copy (ads, lifecycle email, AEO/SEO), iterating based on results.
- Collaborate with our Design Studio to build work that’s visually and verbally inseparable.
- Maintain the brand voice while adapting for channel, audience, and lifecycle stage
- Edit and elevate writing across Circle; you can take rough work from our founders, marketing, and sales and turn it into something thumb-stopping, punchy and delightful to read
What you'll need to be successful
- Strong alignment with our values, find our values on our career page if you haven’t read up on them yet
- You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.
- 7+ years in copywriting or creative roles.
- A portfolio with standout campaign thinking and execution: concepts, systems, and executions.
- Ability to clearly present and sell creative concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders with clear rationale, data, and creative conviction.
- Proven ability to write in multiple modes: inspirational, minimal, technical, humorous, urgent—while staying on brand.
- Experience shaping a brand’s voice and scaling it across teams and channels.
- Strong storytelling instincts, and ability to weave the narrative with brand, product, and business goals.
- Comfort operating at scale: multiple stakeholders, shifting timelines, and rigorous review processes.
- Excellent collaboration skills with product, design, brand, growth, and C-Suite leadership.
- Experience juggling multiple timelines and stakeholders; manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
- Speed with standards: You can produce high-quality drafts quickly, iterate fast based on feedback and data, and still maintain a high bar for clarity, accuracy, and craft.
- Strong cultural literacy and an inclusive, intentional approach to language.
- Use AI to explore ideas, iterate on copy, and push your creative quality higher.
Bonus points
- Experience working in the creator space or directly with creators
- Experience working in SaaS
$120,000 - $130,000 USD per year
