Founded in 2019 and backed by $63.8M in funding from investors including Bessemer Venture Partners and Polaris Partners, FOLX has built a fully remote clinical and operational team of roughly 65 people. Most providers and staff identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community themselves—over one in three clinicians identify as transgender, nonbinary, or gender diverse. That lived experience shapes every aspect of patient care, from intake to ongoing treatment.
